RIVER House of Prayer-Through this stream we host scheduled "Harp and Bowl" events that focus on bringing Prayer and Worship before the Courts and Throne of Heaven. RHOP serves to empower those attending these meetings to Flow in the presence of Holy Spirit and see their lives enriched and empowered through the Prayer, Worship and Teaching during our "Harp and Bowl" events. RHOP also serves as the covering for SOZO/Freedom Deliverance Ministry offered by appointment at The RIVER Center. We have a team of trained and gifted Prayer ministers who will help you find healing and freedom from Addictions, Past Traumas, and other life altering events.

HEALING ROOM
As one of the Healing Streams of RIVER Ministries,it is affiliated with the International Association of Healing Rooms of Spokane, Washington. Our Founders serve as the Directors of the Healing Room, and this stream is aligned with the Apostolic Covering of Cal and Michelle Pierce, the founders of IAHR.
Our Healing Room was birthed through training received at Main Street Prayer Center/Healing Rooms of Hopkins County, in Madisonville KY, that is under the direction of Rush and Barbie Hunt. New Creation Outreach-Through this stream of Ministry, RIVER Ministries hosts several community outreaches each year, going out to offer Ministry through Holy Spirit to those in need. Our "signature" outreach is one called "The Water Outreach". During these exciting events we offer bottles of water to those hiking ,in the Shawnee National Forest, or other places as lead by Holy Spirit. We use this provision of physical water as a doorway to offer to Minister into their lives through gift of Holy Spirit, and the ultimate goal is to lives brought into relationship with the Giver of Living Water.
RIVER Food Pantry-this stream of Ministry provides basic essential food-stuff in emergent situations to those who express a need, without question. Donations accepted year round and through food drives to help replenish the Pantry.
HISTORY
The RIVER Center is not a church, but a place where streams of Ministry can be hosted and flow, changing the World one Soul at a time. Birthed from the Vision of our Founders Joseph and Carolyn Dutton in 2010 and brought forth for such a time as this. It's core mandate is to be a place of Prayer,Healing and Outreach under the Apostolic covering of RIVER Ministries.
Many years ago the Lord placed in the hearts of our Founders a passion to see the Body of Christ and the World transformed one soul at a time into the manifested New Creation through the power of Holy Spirit and from the Ministries hosted inThe RIVER Center.
The RIVER Center was originally housed in downtown Elizabethtown and then shared space with the Old Methodist Church in town. In 2013 RIVER Ministries was gifted what was formerly "Central Pentecostal Church"where The RIVER Center is now located 7 miles north of Elizabethtown IL on Bassett Road. As of 2017 RIVER Ministries is honored to have full deeded ownership of the building and property.
The RIVER Center is overseen by a Leadership board consisting of RIVER Ministries Founders Joseph and Carolyn Dutton, Peggy Sisco, Donna R. Damron Cowsert and staffed by several volunteers who work in various ministries located in The RIVER Center.
DIRECTIONS:
Heading West from Cave in Rock on Route 146, towards Elizabethtown Illinois you will go approximately 8 miles(you will pass Hardin County School[you may turn right there then turn right at the stop sign and that will be Basset Road or you may proceed on up the Hill towards Elizabethtown and then turn Right onto Bassett Road as you come into Eizabethtown](look for- Arrowhead Lodge Sign)From Elizabethtown IL heading East toward Cave in Rock turn Left onto Bassett Road(it is the very last road as you leave Elizabethtown)take Bassett Blacktop 7 miles north. You will see The RIVER Center on your left[older white block building with tin roof]. (Once on Bassett continue straight.....do not turn off on any side road)From Route 1 turn onto Karbers Ridge Road toward Garden of Gods(look for tourist information blue signs). Continue approximately 4 miles to Karbers Ridge. There will be an old brick school on your right that is now Tarex Construction, the next Road to the Left is Bassett Road(Look for Arrowhead Lodge Sign) Follow that road approximately another 4 miles. You will see The River Center on your Right(older white block building with a tin roof). From Route 34, Turn onto Karbers Ridge road towards Garden of Gods(see Blue Tourist information signs) across from Harbisons Grocery. Follow that road until you go through Karbers Ridge. The next road on the right leaving Karbers Ridge is Bassett Road. Follow it approximately 4 miles.
